Corpcom is the only Portuguese agency among the finalists of the European Excellence Awards, one of the most prestigious European Public Relations and Communication competitions, having made the shortlist for the 2026 edition with a project developed for the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (NOVA FCT).
20 years of European Excellence Awards
The nomination comes in a particularly symbolic year for the sector, as the European Excellence Awards celebrate their 20th anniversary, reflecting two decades of recognizing the best communication projects developed in Europe.
This distinction reinforces the international track record of the Portuguese consultancy, which has already won three European Excellence Awards in 2013, 2017, and 2021, establishing itself as one of the national agencies with the greatest recognition beyond borders. “Our regular presence on the competition’s shortlist over the years confirms the consistency of the work carried out by the team. Returning to compete among the best in Europe during the competition’s 20th anniversary is especially rewarding,” says José Franco, Managing Partner at Corpcom.
Awards ceremony in Berlin on December 11
Created to distinguish the best communication projects and professionals in Europe, the European Excellence Awards are considered one of the most important international benchmarks in the sector, annually gathering hundreds of entries from dozens of European countries.
The winners of the 2026 edition will be announced in Berlin on December 11, during the ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of this international competition. Lisbon hosted the competition's final in 2019.
